Gyanchand Gupta unveils statue of Mangal Pandey

The statue of the great revolutionary Mangal Pandey was unveiled by Haryana Assembly Speaker Gyanchand Gupta through virtual medium from Speaker’s home. During this time, Advocate Varayamanksha along with the members of his team were present on the occasion who honored Speaker Gyanchand Gupta by presenting portraits of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev. On this occasion, Assembly Speaker Gyanchand Gupta said that martyrs are the heritage of our country. “It is my privilege to have the opportunity to unveil the statue of the first revolutionary Mangal Pandey.

It is the duty of every citizen to respect the martyrs who have been martyred for the country’s freedom,” Gupta said. The work being done from time to time by the team of Inquilab Mandir is a true tribute to the martyrs. This is a unique initiative that will spread across the country in the time to come. Advocate Manish Bataur and Sarpanch Laxman Das said that the Inquilab temple is the only temple of its kind and we are fortunate to be a part of the unveiling of this statue today.

We must always remember the sacrifices and the heroic of the martyrs. Advocate Varyam Singh said that the Revolution Temple of the revolutionaries was built 21 years ago with the same thought that the glorious history of heroic martyrs and heroines could reach our future generations. So that our future generations could take inspiration from them and work with selfless national service. He informed that today our delegation has given a demand letter to the Speaker of the Assembly regarding granting martyr status to the martyrs constitutionally
