New Delhi. Bawana Infra Development will plant fifty thousand plants in the capital's Bawana Industrial area to make it lush green in the year 2024. Executive Director of Bawana Infra Pulkit Aggarwal announced about this campaign in a media conference yesterday. He said that their aim is 'Swach Bawana hara bhra Bawana', and to fulfill it they have been planting different kinds of plants in the whole industrial area.
This huge plantation drive consists fruits and flowers plants. Aggarwal further said that to complete the target of planting fifty thousand plants, a number of events will be organised throughout the year which includes 'Van Mahotsav' also. Van Mahotsav has been celebrated in the month of august every year.
A maximum number of local residents will also be encouraged to join this campaign to spread awareness about this program. During this whole event different competitions will also be held for children to create awareness about environment protection and afforestation among them.
Managing Director of Bawana Infra Manoj Aggarwal said that to fulfil the commitment of 'Swach Bawana hara bhra Bawana', all industries of this industrial area should plant a maximum number of plants. He also stated that Bawana Infra Development have taken the charge of maintenance and protection of all the plants of the area. Delhi State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd. (DSIIDC) has also shown full support for this campaign.
