Haryana CM nods to 113 projects under Rural Augmentation & Mahagram Scheme worth more than Rs. 121 crore

Chandigarh: The Haryana Government has decided to implement 113 new projects worth more than Rs. 121 crores under Rural Augmentation & Mahagram Scheme in 7 districts namely Yamuna Nagar, Panchkula, Ambala, Faridabad, Jhajjar, Bhiwani and Dadri.


Chief Minister Manohar Lal today accorded administrative approval for these projects to be implemented by the Public Health Engineering Department here today.

Giving more information in this regard, an official spokesperson stated that 2 projects are approved under Mahagram Scheme, 108 projects approved under Rural Augmentation Programe, and 3 projects are approved Sewerage and Sanitation.

Two projects approved under Mahagram Yojana at an estimated cost of Rs. 100.09 crore in 2 Districts Charkhi Dadri and Bhiwani

An official spokesperson informed that two projects approved under Mahagram Yojana include Augmentation of Water Supply Scheme Bond Kalan, providing raw water to 4 existing water works in village Bond Kalan, Bass, Une, Bond Khurd from loharu canal by pumping and laying the DI pipe lines in village Bond, District Charkhi Dadri at an estimated cost of Rs. 69.70 crore, Providing sewerage facility and Sewage Treatment Plant at village Dhanana, District Bhiwani at an estimated cost of Rs. 33.39 crore.

3 Projects approved under Sewerage and Sanitation head at District Yamunanagar, Jhajjar and Faridabad


The spokesperson informed that 3 Projects approved under Sewerage and Sanitation head include Construction of laboratory in Division office campus under PHED, Faridabad at an estimated cost of Rs. 1.49 crore, Setting up new District level waste water testing laboratory including procurement of Lab instruments at Yamuna Nagar with an estimated cost of Rs. 1.01 crore, Construction of Public Health Engineering Laboratory Building as per NABL standard for urban and rural water supply under PHED Bahadurgarh of District Jhajjar at an estimated cost of Rs. 60.41 lakh.

108 projects approved under Rural Augmentation programme worth Rs. 18.07 crore

The spokesperson informed that major projects under Rural Augmentation programme include Water supply scheme estimate for providing and installing one additional tubewell in village Khetpurali of block Barwala Distt. Panchkula at an estimated cost of Rs. 17.42 lakh, Providing and installing one additional tubewell in village Naggal Moginand Block Barwala District Panchkula at an estimated cost of Rs. 17.43 lakh, Providing and Laying of D.I water supply pipe lines due to replacement of old damaged AC/PVC Pipe lines in Village Jaitpura Distt Ambala with an estimated cost of Rs. 63.22 lakh, Laying of D.I. pipe line in village Kalal Majra, of Block Shahzadpur, Tehsil Naraingarh Distt. Ambala with an estimated cost of Rs. 24.98 lakh.

Furthermore, Laying of new water supply pipe lines in Un-covered streets in village Nagawan, Distt. Ambala at an estimated cost of Rs. 21.18 lakh, Replacement of existing outlived AC/PVC water supply lines in village Pullewala of Distt. Ambala with an estimated cost of Rs. 24.44 lakh, Laying of new water supply lines in Un-covered streets of village Rajpur, Distt. Yamuna Nagar at an estimated cost of Rs. 23.82 lakh, Laying of new water supply pipe lines (in Un-covered) streets in village Sunderpur of Distt. Yamuna Nagar with an estimated cost of Rs. 23.36 lakh, Replacement of existing outlived AC/PVC water supply lines in village tewar of Distt. Yamuna Nagar with an estimated cost of Rs. 24.97 lakh, Laying of D.I. water supply pipe lines in (Dhani) and providing (FHTC) in village toda of Distt. Panchkula with an estimated cost of Rs. 22.36 lakh, Replacement of existing AC/PVC outlived water supply pipe line in village Mohra of Distt. Ambala with an estimated cost of Rs. 91.16 lakh, along with other such projects.
