Rohtak Murder Case: Anil Vij directs SP to provide security to deceased's family

Chandigarh: Haryana's Home and Health Minister Anil Vij, taking serious note of a murder in Sampla, Rohtak, where the assailants shot a person, has directed the Superintendent of Police (SP) of Rohtak to ensure the safety of the deceased's family. Simultaneously, he has sought a report on the investigation from the SP.


Vij was redressing to grievances of the people of the state in Ambala.

The complainant from Rohatak, who came with his family, informed Home Minister Anil Vij that his elder brother was shot and killed on the night of January 31.

The case has been registered at the Sampla police station, but no action has been taken by the police, and the assailant is still at large, posing a threat to them. Home Minister Anil Vij immediately instructed the SP of Rohtak to provide immediate security to the affected family and sought a report on the investigation.

A complainant from Jhajjar informed Home Minister Anil Vij that his son's death was suspicious, but the police are labeling it as suicide. Despite this, no case has been registered so far.

Taking note of this, Home Minister Anil Vij has instructed the SP of Jhajjar to seek the report on the delayed investigation and issued instructions for action in the case.


Investigation into ‘Kabootarbazi’ handed over to SIT (immigration fraud)

Several cases of ‘Kabootarbazi’ were brought to the attention of the Home Minister during public hearings. In response, Home Minister Anil Vij has instructed the SIT to take action against‘Kabootarbazi’.

A youth from Kaithal complained that he was cheated of 1.5 lakh rupees on the pretext of sending him to Dubai.

Another complainant from Kurukshetra reported being scammed of 2 lakh rupees in the name of sending him to Portugal. Home Minister Anil Vij has directed action in these cases.

Allegation of misappropriation in Land Acquisition Case, Home Minister Anil Vij Orders Committee Formation for Investigation

Complainants from Sudhani village in Rewari informed Home Minister Anil Vij that land in the village were acquisition, and embezzlement of compensation amounting to 3.28 crore rupees had occurred. In response, Home Minister Anil Vij has directed the DC of Rewari to form a three-member committee to investigate the case.

Home Minister Anil Vij has directed the concerned officers to take action in another cases in which a woman complainant from Karnal accused her husband of false charges and complained about being removed from her job.

Home Minister Anil Vij has instructed the SP of Karnal to investigate the matter. A family from Karnal complained about being duped of 2 crores rupees in the name of doubling their money.

A youth from Sonipat reported being subjected to assault and threats, prompting Home Minister Anil Vij to direct the Sonipat Police Commissioner to investigate.

Similarly, a complainant from Shahabad reported not receiving possession of land despite court orders. A resident of Bahadurgarh complained about no action being taken in the case of his son's murder, and another complainant from Golanpur, Yamunanagar, reported incorrect measurement of land. A youth from Sonipat reported no arrests in a theft case, among other complaints.
