PM Modi lauds Haryana CM Khattar's vision for development

Chandigarh: The Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi today once again commended the steadfast commitment of Haryana Chief Minister, Manohar Lal towards realizing the vision of a Vikist Haryana- Viksit Bharat.


Addressing the nation at a programme organised in Gurugram, Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi lauded the Manohar Lal-led State Government’s progressive approach, which has propelled Haryana towards a path of modernization.


The Prime Minister reminisced about old memories, he recounted that when he used to come to Haryana with Sh. Manohar Lal, had a motorcycle and theywould travel from Rohtak to Gurugram with him sitting behind.


There were small roads but today, the entire Gurugram region is connected to several major national highways, including expressways, which reflects the progressive mindset of Chief Minister, Manohar Lal. He said that today the future of every Haryanvi is safe under the leadership of the Chief Minister.


Acknowledging the transformative impact of infrastructure development, Sh. Narender Modi underscored the significance of projects such as the Dwarka Expressway in fostering industrial growth and connectivity in the region. He praised Chief Minister, Manohar Lal's pivotal role in realizing these initiatives, affirming his unwavering commitment to Haryana's development agenda.


The event witnessed the inauguration and foundation laying of various projects amounting to Rs. 1 lakh crore, underscoring the government's concerted efforts towards fostering inclusive growth and prosperity.

The Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi hailed the collective participation of every citizen, underscoring the nation's unwavering resolve towards progress and innovation.

Furthermore, the Prime Minister reiterated his government's dedication to addressing challenges and propelling India towards a future defined by growth and prosperity. He emphasized the importance of transformative initiatives and expressed confidence in the nation's ability to overcome obstacles.

The Prime Minister, while describing the work of the Dwarka Expressway as a task that shifts gears in people's lives, said that previous governments used to create small plans and made the buzz about them for five years.

However, the BJP government has a long list of developmental projects to be inaugurated. He said that during this year, the government has either inaugurated or laid foundation projects worth Rs. 10 lakh crore.

He said that more than 100 projects worth over Rs. 1 lakh crore are being inaugurated and laid foundation stone in a single day.. Narendra Modi said that turning problems into solutions is Modi's guarantee. He said that today roads have been constructed for every village in the country and all the welfare schemes are being completed on time, this is the New India.

He said that, unlike the previous times, schemes are not delayed, rather they are delivered on time. Today, metro facilities are available in 21 cities of the country.

Long-term planning and round-the-clock hard work are required for all these tasks. The pace of development will be even faster in the next 5 years. The Prime Minister said that by the year 2047, our country should be developed, Haryana should be developed, and Gurugram and Manesar should be developed.

Haryana is writing a new saga of development with the support of the central government: Chief Minister

Speaking on the occasion, Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal welcomed Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi on arriving in Haryana. He said that on behalf of the 2.82 crore people of Haryana, he welcomes and expresses gratitude to the Prime Minister for the development schemes being gifted by the Central Government.

He said that the Prime Minister has a special attachment with Haryana and with the support of the central government, today Haryana is writing a new saga of development, said the Chief Minister.

The Chief Minister said that while both the center and the state governments have paid special attention to infrastructural development, now dedicated efforts are being made towards the revival of cultural and religious heritage.

He expressed happiness that despite being only 2 percent of the country's population, Haryana is making significant contributions to the nation's development, said Sh. Manohar Lal.

The Chief Minister said that Haryana's participation in the country's manufacturing is up to 10 percent. Haryana has been the focal point of the country's important schemes and important campaigns like One Rank One Pension and, the national campaign of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao have started from Haryana.

Today, four major developmental projects are being initiated in Haryana, for which he expresses gratitude to the Prime Minister, said Sh. Manohar Lal.He assured the Prime Minister that in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections Haryana will certainly win all 10 seats.

Dwarka Expressway a State-of-Art Project, says Nitin Gadkari

The Union Minister for Road, Transport and Highways, Sh. Nitin Gadkari said that today's inauguration of the Dwarka Expressway is a state-of-the-art project.

He appreciated Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal for giving full cooperation in the development plan, saying that his contribution has been significant in completing this project.

 

Sh. Nitin Gadkari said that today is a very important day and we need to make India a 5 trillion dollar economy. The Government is constructing world-class highways to make India a superpower. Today, India's infrastructure is becoming better than that of the USA.

The Government has initiated projects worth Rs. 65 crore in the Delhi NCR region, while projects worth Rs. 35 crore have already been completed. He said that these projects will benefit Haryana immensely.

He said that in three months, the government will inaugurate the Urban Extension Road-2 (UER-2) as well. This will ensure that people coming to Delhi from Punjab, Haryana, Himachal, and Jammu and Kashmir to Delhi IGI Airport do not have to wait for hours in the traffic jams within Delhi, said Sh. Nitin Gadkari.

He said that technology is also being used in this project. 30,000 tons of waste have been used in the construction of this project, and a significant effort has been made towards environmental conservation in this project.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi leads Road Show on Dwarka Expressway

Earlier, the Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi led a road show along the Dwarka Expressway. Upon the Prime Minister's road show reaching near Basai village, Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Sh Manohar Lal, and Union Minister Sh Nitin Gadkari were greeted with a warm reception as flowers were showered upon them. Witnessing the presence of these leaders, people spontaneously began dancing, singing, and playing drums. Hundreds had gathered for this roadshow, with chants resonating such as "Bharat Mata ki Jai," "Jai Shri Ram," and "Modi Modi."

 

Haryana Governor, Sh. Bandaru Dattatraya, Union Minister of State for Statistics and Programme Implementation, Rao Inderjit Singh, Union Minister of State for Power and Heavy Industries, Sh. Krishan Pal, Haryana Deputy Chief Minister, Sh. Dushyant Chautala, Transport Minister, Sh. Mool Chand Sharma, Public Health Engineering Minister, Dr. Banwari Lal, Lok Sabha MP and BJP State President, Sh. Nayab Saini, MP, Dr. Arvind Sharma, and other dignitaries also remained present on this occasion.
