Sikar. Prince Lotus Valley School situated at Sikar has added another feather in it's cap by establishing the first KAMP-Center of Excellence. The Knowledge and Awareness Mapping Platform (KAMP), an initiative of CSIR-NIScPR in alliance with M/s NCPL, has established a Robotics and AI Lab for students at Prince Lotus Valley School (PLV), Sikar under it's Center of Excellence Program.
This inaugural event took place on 6th May in the presence of Chief Managing Director, PLV, Rajesh Dhillon, MD, PLV, Ramakant Swami, MD, Prince NDA Academy Brig. B.B.Janu (Retd.), Principal PLV Poonam Chatham, KAMP officials Project Director, Ashish Kumar Mittal, Director Academics and Operations Arika Mathur, Head Capacity Building Mohit Kumar and State Coordinator, KAMP Anoop Kumar. Speaking about the KAMP CoE Ashish kr Mittal said that this program has been designed according to the National Education Policy (NEP).
The prime motive of this program is to promote the vision of "Viksit Bharat" and position India as a global leader in the fields of Science, Technology, and Humanities.
It's interesting to know that more than 15 hundred students participated in the KAMP-National Assessment of Scientific Temperament and Aptitude (NASTA) 2023, which is a prestigious national-level assessment organized by KAMP.
Over 7.5 Lac students from class 5th -12th participated in NASTA 2023. Among them Nikita from Class X was awarded the National Topper title, while Vaisnavi Sharma from Class 5th and Vivek Gupta from Class Xth secured the State Topper positions.
About KAMP: Center of Excellence is dedicated to the development of a vibrant learning community among students, teachers, and schools across India. To achieve this coding, AI & robotics lab, scientific excursions, workshops, live Lectures, training sessions, events & competitions are organised for students. For teachers the Continuous Professional Development (CPD) program is also being conducted. It aims to create an environment where students can get the opportunities to explore and engage in learning and discovery.
