June 28, 2024 09:00 AM

Chandigarh:Haryana Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare Minister Kanwar Pal directed officers to prioritise and resolve issues related to the general public.

He gave these directions while listening to people's problems at the ‘Samadhan camp’ held in Hydel Colony Bhudkalan, Pratap Nagar block, and the PWD Rest House in Chhachhrauli in Yamunanagar district. During this event, he listened to people's problems and resolved many of them on the spot.

In the ‘Samadhan camp’, Kanwar Pal was approached with various issues: Geeta Ram, the sarpanch of Chuharpur Kalan, requested the demarcation of a drain; Rakesh Deodhar raised the issue of getting benefits under the Mukhya Mantri Vivah Shagun Yojna; Kamla resident of Kutipur requested an installment for house repairs; residents of Shiv Colony Chhachhrauli, Kamlesh, Tarun, Nirmal, and Anita, asked for the construction of their house lane; the Gram Panchayat of Manipur requested the construction of a school boundary wall, the sarpanch of Rampur Khadar asked for a road to crematorium; Ghulamdin from Kansali requested an installment for house repairs; and Chhachhrauli residents raised concerns about improving cleanliness in the town.

When Omkar from Sankhera village complained that his land was registered under another person's name under the "Meri Fasal Mera Byora Scheme," the minister directed officers to take action against the responsible party.

Kanwar Pal stated that these camps primarily address issues directly related to the public, such as Parivar Pehchan Patra, land registration, social security pension schemes, ration cards and distribution, electricity, water, irrigation, and crime-related complaints, resolving them on the spot.
