Health Department Team Deserves Congratulations - Health Minister Dr. Kamal Gupta

Chandigarh:  Haryana's Health Minister, Dr. Kamal Gupta, announced that three hospitals from the state were awarded in the ‘Ayushman Bharat Gunvatt Swasthya’ program held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi on June 28. Representing Haryana, the Director General of Health Services, Dr. Randeep Singh Poonia, Director of Health Services, Dr. Kuldeep Singh, and the Civil Surgeon of the respective districts received the awards. He congratulated the Haryana Health Department team for this achievement.

 

The Additional Chief Secretary of the Health Department, Sh. Sudhir Rajpal, congratulated the team and stated that three hospitals from the state, namely Civil Hospital, Sector 10, Gurugram, Sub-District Hospital Hodal, District Palwal, and Community Health Centre Gannaur, District Sonipat, were awarded by the Government of India. These health institutions were recognized for their achievement in providing quality patient care and their excellent performance in meeting the quality indicators as per the National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS).

 

He mentioned that the goal is to have all health institutions in the state certified for quality (NQAS) by 2026. Sh. Sudhir Rajpal informed that 158 government health institutions in Haryana are certified for compliance with the National Quality Assurance Standards by the Central Government. The District Civil Hospital, Panchkula, and the Urban Primary Health Centre, Kurukshetra, are the first district hospitals in the country to receive NQAS certification. The District Civil Hospital, Faridabad, is also the first health institution in the country to receive the MusQan certification for child health quality services. Additionally, the Ayushman Arogya Mandir Sub-Health Centtr in Raipur, Sonipat, underwent the country's first NQAS Virtual National Assessment, and its NQAS certificate was also presented in the aforementioned ‘Ayushman Bharat Gunvatt Swasthya’ program by the Government of India.
