KARNAL:To ensure peaceful and cheat-free examinations, District Magistrate Uttam Singh has issued orders implementing Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code in the district. According to the orders, restrictions under Section 144 will be enforced within a 200-meter radius of the examination centers. The Haryana School Education Board, Bhiwani, will conduct senior secondary (supplementary, re-appear, marks improvement) exams from July 3 to July 11.

The orders issued by District Magistrate Uttam Singh state that these measures are intended to facilitate the smooth and peaceful conduct of the exams and to maintain law and order. Under Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code of 1973, gatherings of five or more people will be prohibited within the 200-meter radius of all examination centers in Karnal district.

Additionally, individuals will be prohibited from carrying firearms, swords, gandasas, lathis, spears, axes, jellies, knives, or other weapons within this area. The orders specify that these restrictions do not apply to examinees, on-duty staff, or police personnel. The District Magistrate warned that any violation of these orders would result in legal action as per the rules.
