Chandigarh, Dr. Balkar Singh has been appointed as President along with other committee members during the installation ceremony of the ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating & Air-Conditioning Engineers), Chandigarh Chapter at CII, Northern Region, Sector 31.The other members in the committee includes Money Khanna as President Elect, Harmeet Singh as Vice President, Ar. Amit Kumar Sharma as Secretary and Amardeep Singh as Treasurer.
The installation was done by Richie Mittal, Director and Regional Chair, Region XV of ASHRAE in presence of Guests of Honours - Ms Sapna, Chief Architect Punjab and Architect Kapil Setia, Chief Architect, UT. Visawanath Krishnan, Regional Nomination Chair and Dr. Varun Jain, RVC GAC.
VAARTA - Voice on Air Conditioning, Air Quality, Renewable Technology & Architecture was organized on the theme of Building Energy Efficiency for Sustainable Living wherein key speaker Architect Gaurav Shorey deliberated upon the topic.
The event was attended by the HVAC&R and Building Science industry leaders, Consultants, Senior Officers from government organizations and experts.
