Shahabad Markanda: Congress leader Vikramjeet Dolke, speaking to journalists at his business premises, criticized the current BJP government for increasing unemployment in the country and the state over the past decade. He claimed that under Congress rule, the state excelled in sports and other areas, but now it leads in unemployment, drug trafficking, and corruption.

Dolke accused the current MLA of deceiving the public over the past five years, resulting in a rise in theft, looting, and drug empire in the constituency. He stated that former MLAs who switched to BJP and then returned to Congress have completely lost the trust of the people. Dolke emphasized that the party high command has made it clear that candidates will be selected based on their work and education.

Addressing the controversy over the Congress workers' conference, Dolke stated that any leader could organize such a conference, but for it to be recognized as a Congress workers' conference, the district president and district in-charge must be present. He assured that he would fully support the party's chosen candidate. If trusted by the party and blessed by Shahabad's people, Dolke's main objectives would include constructing a flood-prevention bridge over the Markanda River, establishing industries for unemployed youth, improving the education sector, and eradicating drug abuse from Shahabad.
