Chandigarh: Saurav Gupta was installed as the new president of the Rotary Club at an installation ceremony held at Rotary District 3080 in Sector 31. The ceremony began with the collaring of Saurav Gupta and was attended by several prominent figures including MP Manish Tiwari, who graced the event as the chief guest.
The event saw the presence of notable Rotary Club members such as M.P. Gupta, Madhukar Malhotra, Dr. Rita Kalra, CA Rachit Goyal, Jagdeep Chadha, Akash Mittal, Dr. Bhushan Gupta, Dr. Vanita Gupta, Ritu Mittal, and Jagdeep Chadha.
In his address, newly appointed President Saurav Gupta outlined his vision for the upcoming term. Manish Tiwari lauded the contributions of Rotary Club to social service over the past twelve decades. Expressing concern over global warming in 2023, Tiwari urged the Rotarian community to take concrete steps towards environmental conservation and develop a solid plan to address this critical issue.
