Dhaulakuan; Sierra’25, an annual cultural, sports, and management fest organized by IIM Sirmaur, concluded with overwhelming success, bringing together students, artists, and enthusiasts from across the country. The event was themed Ethereal Genesis, blending the serene beauty of our surroundings with the excitement of fresh beginnings and boundless opportunities.
Over the years, Sierra has become one of the most anticipated events, drawing massive participation from some of the nation's top institutions. This year, Sierra's reach extended to 100+ colleges nationwide, with an attendance of 5,000+ students in its offline and online events. Sierra’25 had prominent participation of students from esteemed colleges and universities such as IIM Bangalore, IIM Kashipur, Delhi University, Hansraj College, Shri Guru Gobind Singh College, and IIT Kharagpur. The enthusiasm was high during, Sierra'25 with a line-up of talented artists and singers, including Ms. Vaani Bhasin, DJ Ansika, and DJ Tracer. Students on campus also put up various stalls as part of the Sierra Carnival. These stalls included art exhibitions, games, activities, face painting, crafts, etc. The official sponsors for Sierra'25 were Khadi & Village Industries Commission (Govt. of India) and Union Bank of India.
This year, Sierra 2025 also marked a new chapter in IIM Sirmaur’s journey as it celebrated the transition to the beautiful new campus at Dhaula Kuan, Himachal Pradesh, in the lap of the Himalayas. The performances, engaging events, and enthusiastic participation made Sierra'25 a memorable celebration that brought the IIM Sirmaur community together, continuing to inspire unity. The event not only highlighted the diverse skills of students but also reflected the institution's commitment to fostering creativity, collaboration, and excellence.
