Chandigarh: The Punjab government has appointed Ravi Bhagat, a 2006-batch IAS officer as the Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Punjab. Previously serving as the Special Principal Secretary to the CM, Bhagat’s elevation comes as part of the state’s administrative reshuffle.
In addition to his new role, he will continue to hold the additional charge of Administrative Secretary, Public Works Department (Buildings & Roads), and Secretary, Punjab Rural Development Board.
