Shimla: SJVN’s 1500 MW Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Power Station (NJHPS) successfully organized the 23rd Edition of Vendor Development Meet for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) today.
Sh. Ajay Kumar Sharma, Director (Personnel), SJVN was the Chief Guest of the occasion. The program commenced with lighting of the lamp by Chief Guest, Sh. Ajay Kumar Sharma, Sh. Ashutosh Bahuguna, HOP(NJHPS) and other senior dignitaries from Corporate Headquarters and various projects of SJVN.
Sh. Ajay Kumar Sharma in his address highlighted that Vendor Development Meets play a pivotal role in fostering an inclusive ecosystem where MSMEs can grow and succeed. He urged vendors to familiarize themselves with government norms and SJVN’s procurement policies to ensure smooth and fair participation.
The Vendor Development Meet featured detailed presentations by officials from MSME's, NSIC, National SC/ST Hub MSME and GeM, providing valuable insights for participating vendors. The vendors also shared their experiences and success stories of collaborating with the company. The event concluded with an open forum where vendors and stakeholders engaged in discussions on best practices, challenges and the way forward in streamlining procurement processes while upholding ethical standards.
The Vendor Development Meet was attended by Sh. Manmeet Gupta, Dy. CVO from Corporate Headquarters, Sh. Rajeev Aggarwal, HOP (Sunni Dam HEP), Sh. J.S Nayyar, HOP (NMHPS), Sh. Vikas Marwah, HOP (Rampur HPS), Sh. Vivek Sharma, HOP (LHEP-I) and other senior officials from SJVN.
