July 23, 2024 10:28 AM

Chandigarh: Chief Secretary TVSN Prasad today directed the HKRN to actively engage with administrative secretaries to prepare a comprehensive menu of jobs to meet the skill requirements of various departments.

Presiding over the 7th Board Meeting of the HKRN, Prasad emphasized the need for the Nigam to operate more professionally and address manpower requirements without delay.

HKRN is in the process of acquiring a Recruiting Agent License from the Protector of Emigrants, Ministry of External Affairs, which will enable HKRN to place job seekers abroad at its own level. HKRN has selected 228 job seekers for placement abroad through the NSDC. Looking ahead, HKRN plans to understand future manpower needs in the private sector and overseas markets.

Candidates will be equipped with necessary skills through training at the Haryana Skill Development Mission and Shri Vishwakarma Skill University, enhancing the employability of Haryana's residents. A key focus of the Nigam is to relieve people from the burden of hefty commissions charged by private agents for overseas job placements. The Nigam portal aims to unite recruiters from government, private, and overseas sectors with job seekers on a single platform, simplifying the job search process with just a click.
