Chandigarh: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini made many announcements after chairing the Cabinet meeting on Thursday here. A decision has been taken in the cabinet in the interest of farmers. Farmers will be given a bonus of Rs 2000 per acre for every crop, announced the CM.
Saini said, "This season, there has been less rain as compared to last year due to which the expenses of the farmers have increased. We have decided that bonus will be given on the current purchased crop. We will give bonus on all the crops of the farmers."
He added, "Get your crop registered by 15th August. If the farmer has less than one acre of land, he will also be given a bonus."
Farmers should give details of 'meri fasal mera byaura' as soon as possible so that they can give this amount as soon as possible, said the CM.
The cabinet has also decided to secure all the one lakh twenty thousand contractual employees working in various departments of the state. The casual workers working in Haryana will get service security, the decision of which has been taken in the cabinet meeting.
As per the decision of the cabinet, the casual workers will work till retirement. They will be given their grid pay. They also will be given dearness allowance (DA) twice a year. Also, they will be given medical maternity facilities.
CM Saini said that the state government is committed to the welfare of the employees. He said there were regularization schemes in the previous Congress government and since then the employees have been facing problems. But his government brought an act for the employees instead of a policy so that the employees do not face any problem.
