JIND: UNIQUE TEACHERS' AWARD 2024. This event was organised by Narayani Welfare society on the occasion of Teacher's Day at Gymkhana Club, Hisar. Dr Himanshu Garg, resident of Distt. Jind that a girl belongs to a middle class family is making efforts to raise herself, her family as well as society. Dr Himanshu Garg is working as Asstt. Professor, Department of Computer Science, Priyadarshini Indira Gandhi Govt. College for Women, Jind. She has topped in Jind Distt. in M.Sc. & MCA during her student career. She is also a University topper of GJU in MBA(OBH).
She has teaching experience of more than 20 years of UG/PG classes. Students guided by her bring laurels to the institutions. She has authored 9 books as sole author on various topics of Computer Science and writing articles for various renowned journals/magazines since long at both National & International levels. She has pioneered the growth of education and art for females by conducting workshops in schools, colleges, Distt. Jail.
Her aim is to utilize her knowledge for the betterment of society. She has guided thousands of girl students in the field of art & education through online and offline workshops. She has been honoured with a number of awards i.e. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Award, Powerful Women of Haryana 2022, Lifetime achievement award, National Educator Award 2023, Meri Beti Mera Gaurav Award etc. for the excellent performance in the field of Education & Art. According to Dr. Himanshu Garg, nowadays students are more inclined towards materialism, we have to make them aware of morality and spirituality so that they can get success as well as satisfaction in their life.
There is an atmosphere of happiness among family members and friends on this achievement. Event founder Gunjan Goyal said that the character and behavior of a teacher should be exemplary. All the family members and people of jind congratulated her on this achievement. She gave credit for this achievement to his parents, family members and her students. Many dignitaries associated with the education world were present in this function.
