Indri: At a public grievance redressal program held at the Irrigation Department Rest House, MLA and Chief Whip Ramkumar Kashyap addressed residents of various villages in the constituency. He expressed gratitude for the support and trust the public has shown by electing him as their representative for a second term. Kashyap assured the public of his unwavering commitment to the development of the constituency and the resolution of their issues, emphasizing that no stone would be left unturned to ensure progress. He also extended greetings for Lohri and Makar Sankranti to the people.
Kashyap stated that his primary focus is to resolve as many issues as possible on the spot to spare people the hassle of visiting government offices. He stressed that no grievance or complaint should remain pending for long, as the government prioritizes the welfare of its citizens.
During the program, residents presented a range of issues, including demands for roads, drains, grants, drinking water facilities, waste water management, construction of community halls, electricity and water supply, pensions, ration, correction of electricity bills, and housing assistance. Specific demands included:
• Khedi Jatan residents requested water facilities in 100-yard plots.
• Bibipur Jatan residents sought the construction of a road from Chhath Puja Ghat to Prasanni.
• Rakesh Kumar from Beed Bhadsu requested the paving of a pathway.
• Residents of Garhi Sadhan from the Brahmin community requested the construction of a boundary wall and toilets for their community hall.
• Dugra residents demanded a grant for a shed at the Kashyap Chaupal.
• Chogawa residents requested the construction of a Guru Ravidas Chaupal.
The MLA urged the public to prioritize community welfare and development over political differences, stating that increased development directly benefits the common people. He sought the public’s cooperation in accelerating ongoing development projects in the region.
Kashyap also held a review meeting with officials from various departments, directing them to expedite development works and report on completed and pending projects. He emphasized that officials should not delay addressing public grievances and should ensure prompt solutions.
The program was attended by SDM Ashok Kumar, DSP Satish Kumar, Tehsildar Gaurav, PWD SDO Rohtash Singh, Electricity Board SDO Yuvraj, Market Committee Secretary Jasbir Singh, Block Agriculture Officer Dr. Ashwani Kumar, and other departmental officials. Senior BJP leaders, including former Sarpanch Shyam Lal Kashyap, Rajbir Panjokhra, Rajpal Nambardar, Ramchandra Kalri, Soni Kashyap, and Krishna Dev Kashyap, along with a large number of BJP workers, were also present.
