Haryana Govt takes effective steps to end crime : Garg

HISAR: Bajrang Garg, Provincial President of Haryana Pradesh Trade Board and former Chairman of Haryana CONFED, said that there is a lot of resentment among businessmen and villagers over the shooting of grocery businessman Sonu by criminals in broad daylight and even after 5 days, the police administration has not been able to arrest the criminals. Mr. Garg, while addressing the gathering sat on dharna said that the police administration should arrest the criminals with immediate effect and take the strictest action against them, otherwise the residents would be forced to launch an agitation in Haryana.


Mr. Garg demanded that the government should provide a compensation of Rs 1 crore to the victim's family and a government job to one member of the family. He said that Haryana has become a hub of crime as the incidents of looting, murder and extortion are happening every day against businessmen and the general public in Haryana. The criminals in the state are active and the government is lazy. The government should take the strictest steps to end crime in Haryana. The government should make strong arrangements for the safety of life and property of businessmen and the general public.


He said that about 50% of government posts of police officers and employees are lying vacant in Haryana. The government should immediately recruit all the vacant posts in the police department to improve the law & order situation and to curb crime. Besides others, prominent social worker, Hanuman Verma; District Councilor, Sandeep Jebra; Dharampal Bagri, former Sarpanch; Nihal Singh, former Sarpanch; CPM leader, Comrade Suresh; labor representative, Rohtash Rajli and a large numbers of members of business community were present on the occasion.
