Chandigarh: PRCI Chandigarh Chapter has been selected as Best Chapter for YCC activities during the ongoing 18th Global Communication Conclave, an annual event of the Public Relations Council of India (PRCI), in Mangalore. The Young Communicators Clubs ((YCC) under the Mentorship of Chandigarh Chapter includes Shoolini University, GGDSD College, MCM DAV College, SCS PU, Rayat and Bahra University and Satluj Public School.
Dr Archana R Singh, the former Chairperson of School of Communications, Punjab University, was honoured with the Chanakya Award in the category of Community Radio Broadcast at the Conclave . The award was conferred by Union Minister of State Shripad Yesu Naik in the presence of State Home Minister G Parameshwara and Dakshina Kannada District Incharge Minister Dinesh Gundu and city Mayor Manoj Kumar Kodikal and other prominent intellectuals who were also present.
PRCI is an apex body of public relations professionals and business communicators in India with chapters across the country. The conclave began on November 8 which was represented by delegates of PR and communications fraternity across the country and took part in various panel discussions and presentations of concerned subjects.
