Chandigarh: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has reacted strongly to opposition leader Pratap Singh Bajwa's statement on 'AAP model vs Congress model'.
Attacking the Congress in a statement issued from the party headquarters, AAP Punjab chief spokesperson Malvinder Singh Kang said that the reality of the Congress model is that three former Congress ministers are in jail. One Chief Minister (rendering to Charanjit Singh Channi) fled abroad after the elections and one (Captain Amarinder Singh) joined the BJP.
Kang said that the Congress model has put Punjab in debt of Rs 3 lakh crore, sheltered mafias and criminals and forced the youth to go abroad. Today the youth of Punjab are facing the consequences of the misdeeds of the previous governments.
Now Punjab has got a clean and honest government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. The honest AAP government is cracking down on criminals and mafias and is giving employment to the youth in large numbers.
In fact, the Akali-Congress are unable to digest the works of the clean government that's why they are misleading the people of Punjab.
