Afforestation and reforestation efforts will aid to absorb carbon dioxide and produce oxygen : Nautiyal

Chandigarh: - PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized the 10th edition of Ins-Out Exhibition. In the first session Regional Energy Transition and Sustainability (RETS) Conclave organized at Ins Out. On this occasion, the chief guest TC Nautiyal, IFS Secretary- Science and Technology Chandigarh Administration said that the Chandigarh will become a beautiful city only when the people here plant more and more trees and include cycling in their daily routine.

 

He emphasised on promoting the use of clean energy and said that coal reserves are limited and the electricity produced from it is a threat to the environment. Moreover, he said that Afforestation and Reforestation Join Forces to Revitalize Air Quality.

 

PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized the 10th Ins-Out with the collaboration of Indian Institute of Architects (IIA), Fire and Security Association of India (FSAI), Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME), HAREDA, UHBVN, DHBVN, STARTUP PUNJAB, Network of People for Construction (NPC), & Industrial Business Owners Association (IBOA) at chandigarh.


On this occasion, R S Sachdeva Chair, Punjab State Chapter, PHDCCI welcoming the guests during the program and said that this event is being organized with the aim of giving information to the people about the modern technology regarding the changes taking place in the field of building construction.

 

In addition, CB Ojha Chief Engineer- Engineering Department Chandigarh Administration said that the target has been set to make Chandigarh a completely solar based city by the year 2047.

 

In this exhibition, the famous architect Habib khan said that chandigarh is a renowned city for its modern architecture, but in todays era people is adopting modern techniques in building architecture. However, people forgotten to build traditional buildings that connect us to our heritage. He emphasizing that people must strive to reuse or recycle materials whenever possible.

 

Parv Arora Convener, Regional Power & Renewable Energy Committee PHDCCI said that the increasing importance of solar. Suvrat Khanna Co-Chair of PHDCCI Chandigarh Chapter expressed gratitude to the guests and said that during this four-day program, people associated with building construction in the city, architecture students from various colleges and universities will participate here.
