During inspection of Sarthak Government Model Senior Secondary School in Sector 12-A, Panchkula, he lauded the school as a role model for all government schools in the state.

"All school principals should adopt this school as a role model and work towards developing similar frameworks in their schools,” Sh. Dhanda stated. He added that only by following such exemplary practices, the goals of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 can be achieved, laying a strong foundation for students to meet the educational demands of the modern era.

The Education Minister inspected the functioning of the school and reviewed the attendance register for morning-shift teachers, finding all 50 TGT and PGT teachers present. The school operates in two shifts: classes 6 to 12 in the morning and classes 1 to 5 in the afternoon.

During his visit, Sh. Dhanda appreciated the classroom seating arrangements and commended the school management for their efforts. Addressing the students, he encouraged them to study diligently to bring pride to their parents and the state.

The school principal, Dr. Pawan Kumar Gupta, highlighted the institution’s popularity, stating that over 2,500 students are currently enrolled, and many parents aspire for their children to study at Sarthak School. He informed the minister about the approved construction of four new classrooms and requested administrative approval for the same to ensure timely completion for the next academic session.

The minister assured swift administrative clearance for the project, reiterating that grants for infrastructure development in government schools would not face delays. He urged all school heads to submit infrastructure-related requirements promptly to ensure timely funding.
