Kurukshetra: Kurukshetra . Kurukshetra University Non-teaching Employees Association President, Rajwant Kaur received National Award for excellent humanitarian work in the field of social service. It is worth mentioning that on the occasion of the National Launch of the 100-day Intensified Campaign for TB Elimination organized by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare at the Indradhanush Auditorium in Panchkula.
Union Health and Family Welfare Minister of India, Hon'ble JP Nadda honoured Kuntia Pradhan Rajwant Kaur with the National Award in the presence of Haryana Chief Minister Hon'ble Nayab Singh Saini. Kurukshetra University, Vice Chancellor, Prof Som Nath Sachdeva congratulated Rajwant Kaur for her achievement.
Rajwant Kaur has been playing an active role in social service work since 2012 through Shubhkarman Charitable Trust and she has taken the responsibility of taking care of 11 elderly people and educating 19 girls. At the same time, under the TB Free India Campaign, she has been doing human service since the year 2018. Initially, she had taken the responsibility of serving 400 TB patients, whose number is 785 today
