Chandigarh: Renowned Punjabi poetess and writer Roop Kaur Kooner recently shared her heartfelt experience of presenting her latest work to Punjab's Chief Minister, Bhagwant Singh Mann. Speaking about the interaction, Kooner expressed her delight at discovering the literary side of the Chief Minister, who, she revealed, not only enjoys reading but is also an accomplished writer.
Kooner shared that Mann, known for his simplicity and humility beyond his political stature, accepted the first copy of the fifth edition of her book Akeeda with great respect and affection. She described him as a person who values literature and culture deeply, embodying the essence of a true literary figure.
"I am deeply indebted and immensely grateful to him for his love and respect towards my work," Kooner remarked.
