Gidderbaha/Chandigarh,: Senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Punjab Cabinet Minister Aman Arora visited Gidderbaha on Friday, where he laid the foundation stone for around 30 new development schemes worth over 12 crores. These schemes are set to benefit around a dozen villages in the area.

Following the foundation stone ceremony, Arora addressed the local residents, urging them to support the Aam Aadmi Party in the upcoming by-election. He highlighted Gidderbaha's significance for the AAP, noting that in 2017, it was one of the three seats in Malwa that the party prioritised.

Arora was accompanied by AAP MLAs Davinderjit Singh Laddi Dhons, Jagdeep Singh Kaka Brar, and AAP leaders Dimpy Dhillon, Pritpal Sharma, and Sukhjinder Kauni at the public meeting.

Arora praised the Aam Aadmi Party for initiating honest and transparent politics in Punjab, claiming that the days of fake police cases, corruption, and mafia influence are over. He emphasized that a new era of constructive politics has begun.

He highlighted the achievements of the Mann government, including 45,000 government jobs in the past two and a half years, 300 units of free electricity per month, and uninterrupted power supply for farmers. He said that the opponents used to doubt the free electricity scheme, but the AAP government has been providing free electricity to the people for two years now. Arora questioned why free electricity was not provided earlier and expressed confidence that the AAP government will do more work in just five years than previous governments did in 70 years.

Arora concluded by urging the people to support Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and ensure a decisive victory for the AAP candidate in the by-election.
