Amritsar : The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee celebrated Baba Farid's birthday with reverence and respect at Gurdwara Sri Manji Sahib Diwan Hall belonging to Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib Sri Darbar Sahib.
After Sri Akhand Path Sahib, the team of Hazuri Ragi Bhai Sukhbir Singh of Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib performed Gurbani Kirtan. The prayer was offered by Bhai Gurcharan Singh and the holy order was taken by the narrator Bhai Vishal Singh.
On this occasion, Bhai Vishal Singh informed the congregation about the life history of Baba Farid Ji. He said that the words of Baba Farid ji inspire people to connect with God, following whose guidance one can live a successful life.
The fifth Patshah Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji has given great respect by recording the verses of the Gurus as well as the devotees in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. Congratulating the congregation on the birthday of Baba Farid , he appealed to them to take guidance from his life and become bearers of Bani and Bani.
