Krishan Pal Gurjar lays foundation stone of development works in Faridabad

Chandigarh:  Union Minister of State for Cooperation Sh. Krishan Pal Gurjar laid the foundation stone of several development works in Faridabad. Under Ward No. 12, the construction work of service road by interlocking tiles from Hardware Chowk to Panchkuian Road and the renovation work of Rose Garden located at NIT 01 was formally started today. Apart from this, the special repair work of Dhauj Crusher Zone road was also started.

 

The Union Minister of State for Cooperation said the renovation work of Rose Garden, the largest park in Badkhal Assembly, will now be completed rapidly. In this, a synthetic track will be constructed at a cost of about Rs 1.6 crore, 5 ‘kiari’ will be constructed at a cost of Rs 18 lakh. It will have the fragrance of different types of rose flowers. Also, light and music system will be installed at a cost of Rs 70 lakh. Similarly, the minister also formally inaugurated the construction work of service road by interlocking tiles from Hardware Chowk to Panchkuiya Road at a cost of Rs 46 lakh. He said in the coming days, development work worth about Rs 87 crore will be done in Badkhal.

 

Talking about the central and state-level schemes, the minister said all the schemes being made by the government are citizen-friendly. There is no discrimination of any kind in these policies. The only aim of the government is to give the direct benefit of these schemes to the person standing in the last row. Due to the efforts of the current government, the connectivity of Faridabad has become so strong that any corner of the country can be reached through the highway originating from here.

 

The minister said one highway has been connected to another highway in a planned manner, which has not only made the journey easier, but is also saving time and fuel. Whether going to Jaipur or Mumbai, Chandigarh or Vaishno Devi, Faridabad now has seamless and accessible connectivity in every direction. This highway connectivity is making Faridabad emerge as an important logistics and transit hub, which is also giving new impetus to regional trade, employment and tourism, he added.
